ACCELERATED PACING GUIDES
To ease the burden of planning an accelerated course, our team has created a suggested pacing guide to cover 6th-8th grade concepts in two years.
WORD WALL
Our team has created a beautiful word wall containing 190 middle school math terms and their definitions formatted to easily display in the classroom as a strategic visual for essential vocabulary. A Spanish translated version of the word wall is included. Click here to see a preview!
ADDITIONAL UNIT TESTS
To maintain the integrity of unit exams, two additional PDF versions of the unit tests have been created. On each version of the test, corresponding questions ensure that the same concept is assessed at an equal level of difficulty. The additional versions can also be used as a pre-assessment or re-test as needed.
ADDITIONAL RESOURCE UPDATES
In addition to the resources listed above, our team has been busy behind the scenes making the following updates and improvements:
- New Performance Tasks have been added to two selected units in each grade level.
- Graphs and figures have been updated in our Test Prep Units and Year-End Assessments.
- The Data and Statistics Unit in our 7th CCSS and 7th TEKS Curricula has been updated to better introduce Populations and Samples.
- A student handout and corresponding homework on Combining Like Terms has been added to 6th TEKS and 6th CCSS Units.
- A Graphing Linear Equations lesson has been added to 8th grade TEKS and 8th grade CCSS to provide instructions and practice for graphing equations from y-intercept form before introducing systems of equations.

JUMP START
This introductory component to Maneuvering Math provides tools and strategies for number operations and problem solving. Each of the strategies includes a training video for teachers, student worksheets and activities to apply and practice the strategies.
