This week I got a class of sixth graders to write a short essay on their family pets for their English homework task. The younger kids had to write a one page article or prepare a short fun talk on the importance of teamwork at school and in life too. My high school kids were also told by me to hand in to me a two page essay on major national events that completely changed America forever or tell me about themselves.
